Web Savvy Seniors Dominate the Internet

Interestingly enough, the common thought that seniors are afraid of computers and that they think the web is merely something that spiders spin is not entirely true.

Recent findings from the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) that show seniors aged 65 and older have made the Internet an integral part of their everyday lives. Some of the numbers will absolutely blow you away! For example, did you know that 65+ adults lead all other generational groups when it comes to online activity?
And that’s not all.

Ninety-four percent regularly using email, 77 percent shop online and 70 percent read the news online. So next time your target market happens to be seniors, don’t forget to get your message out online. Because even though you may not think so, they’re there.
